Frequently asked questions
Why does email HTML need to be table-based? +
Email clients (especially Outlook) don't support modern CSS layout (flexbox, grid). Tables are the only layout primitive that works reliably everywhere, which is why every professional email signature uses them.
Can I edit the raw HTML myself? +
Yes. Click "Copy HTML" to grab the raw markup. You can edit it manually before pasting it into your CRM, helpdesk, or marketing tool.
Are external CSS files supported? +
No — and they shouldn't be. Email clients strip <link> and most <style> blocks. All Sigavo signatures use inline styles only.
How do I embed a signature in my CRM? +
Most CRMs (HubSpot, Front, Help Scout, Intercom) accept HTML signatures. Copy the raw HTML from Sigavo and paste it into the signature field of your CRM's user profile or template editor.
Is the generated HTML safe to use? +
Yes. Sigavo escapes all your inputs and rejects unsafe URLs (javascript:, data:, file:) to make sure your final HTML is clean and safe to deploy.
